Hope everyone has enjoyed or is still enjoying your holidays. As mentioned I have some exciting news of an event in February. One of our foundation values at Waiara is Kotahitanga,

Kotahitanga - Unity

Our unity, togetherness, solidarity is at our core. One people one Waka in mystical union with Christ. Embracing our diversity and finding new strength together. Kia Kotahi Tātou - We are one 

 

In Psalm 133 1-3 we read . . .

 

Psalms 133:1-3 MSG

“How wonderful, how beautiful, when brothers and sisters get along! It’s like costly anointing oil flowing down head and beard, Flowing down Aaron’s beard, flowing down the collar of his priestly robes. It’s like the dew on Mount Hermon flowing down the slopes of Zion. Yes, that’s where God commands the blessing, ordains eternal life.”

 

I believe the most paramount thing in our lives is our faith in Jesus, The Father’s love and the fellowship with the Holy Spirit ( the Trinity), then family & whanau (including our whakapapa or genealogy or culture) then finally our ministry or what we put our hands to. When we put these three things in order a rest and blessing flows upon us from heaven. This year from the Hebrew calendar is called the Year of the open window, where sign, wonders and blessings flow from heaven.

 

So with this in mind and a deep sense from the Father that Kotahitanga (our unity together) is His heart for Aotearoa in 2025. We have planned a Kotahitanga Festival on the 15th & 16th of February 2025 for all our friends and new friends from across the nation. Richard and Sarah Te Tau and lots of there friends  will be leading the Worship, Ian Johnson and Matai Bennett will be sharing and I will lead some prophetic actions for us to do as a demonstration of our unity together. I believe there are four steps that release a fresh governmental anointing upon God children where we can decree

from heaven prayers that will shake our nation.

John 17:21 NIV

“that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

 

Also we will be holding a Baptism in our Waikato Awe (river) on Sunday afternoon.
