You are invited to the Red Shed (and Coastlands) Church ReUnion October 26th to 28th 2024 (Labour Weekend)

Wow! Has it been 30 years, whoever thought we would be holding a Red Shed ReUnion

30 years later. For Lorraine and I it was not on our radar until the last 12 months. We have had so many reconnections with friends from the Red Shed and it is amazing how time has

not broken that sweetness of old friendships.

At the start of 2024, I felt the Lord was saying we had come full circle. During this time I heard a word from Dutch Sheets regarding God’s full circle and how the word testimony in Hebrew is 'Aydooth' which means 'do it again with the same power and authority.' Every time we speak out or read a testimony we are saying Lord, 'do it again' with the same power and authority. The scripture below has been burning in my heart over this time.

Psalms 126:4-6 TPT

“Now, Lord, do it again! Restore us to our former glory! May streams of your refreshing flow over us until our dry hearts are drenched again. Those who sow their tears as seeds will reap a harvest with joyful shouts of glee. They may weep as they go out carrying their seed to sow, but they will return with joyful laughter and shouting with gladness as they bring back armloads of blessing and a harvest overflowing!”

I think all of us don’t ever want to go backwards and I am sure our lives and relationship with Jesus has moved on in ways sometimes good sometimes not so good. But I believe there is a real kingdom principle that what we honour can open new doors for the future.

So, with this in mind Lorraine and I would like to invite you to Waiara Farm in Reporoa near Taupo for a weekend of good food, fellowship and wonderful worshipin our Glory Barn. We want to make lots of time for people to reconnect and share testimonies and stories. On the Saturday we will have a couple of gatherings in the Glory Barn but  we’re also planning a yummy Hangi and a Bon Fire later on. On Sunday we will have a 11am gathering then people can catch up with each other, go for a soak in our local hot pool or head into Taupo for a coffee and food. Then we will have a free worship night to conclude the reunion.

Taupo is only a 20 minute drive away for accommodation, however we have plenty

of campings spots for tents, campers etc. Registration is free, with a $35 food charge for the Hangi and Sunday Lunch. Camping costs are $25 per personwhich covers Porta Loo’s and Showers etc.
